Widad Student Clubs and Societies

Kelana Siswa Malaysia Widad (KSM Widad)

Kelanasiswa Malaysia or KSM is a Rover scout group established in higher education institutions in Malaysia where its membership consists of students aged 18 years and above.

The main purpose of the establishment is to assist in the development of students' character and leadership, through fostering the values ​​of discipline, cooperation, responsibility, and courage through scouting activities.

KSM members are trained to respect others, care for the environment, and act as leaders in various situations.

Scouting training and experience can shape students' identities holistically, and become an added value for each member before stepping into the world of employment.

MedCy Club

MedCy Club is a student-led club under the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, uniting students from the Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences and the Diploma in Pharmacy programs.

This club serves as a dynamic platform for health science students to collaborate, share knowledge, and participate in various activities that promote academic excellence, professional development, and community service.

The club was established on 18 September 2023 and is guided by a team of lecturers under the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.

Through interactive programs, workshops, and outdoor activities, MedCy Club aims to foster unity, leadership, and a deeper understanding of the medical and pharmaceutical fields among its members.

Angkatan Mahasiswa Anti Rasuah (Amar) Widad

The Anti-Corruption Student Movement (AMAR) is a student movement at Institutions of Higher Education (IPT) that spreads messages to prevent corruption.

As the voice of students in the fight against corruption, AMAR is also a source of reference for anti-corruption and abuse of power for the campus community and serves as a message transmitter and catalyst for cooperation between MACC and IPT.

The implementation of the AMAR program focuses on instilling anti-corruption values, integrity and other noble values, in addition to collaborating with MACC in spreading anti-corruption messages to students in particular and Malaysia in general.

Indian Club Society

The Indian Club Society, established on 27 October 2023, was founded to create a welcoming and vibrant community for Indian students in college.

The society aims to celebrate India's rich culture, heritage, and traditions while supporting students in their academic, personal, and professional growth.

It serves as a platform for cultural exchange, social bonding, and promoting diversity and inclusion on campus.

The objectives of the Indian Club Society include celebrating Indian festivals and traditions, providing support and a sense of belonging to Indian students, fostering cross-cultural understanding with international peers, organizing workshops and networking events for student development, encouraging active participation in college activities, and creating a home away from home for all its members.

KASTUWI Widad

KASTUWI Widad, established in 2015, is a vibrant student-led cultural club at Widad University College that champions the promotion of arts, culture, and creative expression among the student community.

The club offers a nurturing platform for students to explore and showcase their talents in various art forms, including traditional and contemporary dance, musical performances, theatrical productions, visual arts, and literary works such as poetry and storytelling.

Beyond performances, KASTUWI actively conducts workshops, cultural showcases, and collaborative events with other institutions to foster greater cultural awareness and appreciation.

Since its founding, the club has played a significant role in cultivating a strong sense of identity, unity, and pride in Malaysia’s rich heritage.

It also promotes leadership, teamwork, and soft skill development through student involvement in planning, organizing, and executing cultural initiatives.

By blending tradition with modern creativity, KASTUWI Widad continues to inspire the younger generation to embrace and preserve the beauty of Malaysia’s diverse cultural legacy.

Rakan Siswa YADIM

Rakan Siswa YADIM (RSY) is an organisation that established in public and private university where it is founded by the students in higher education institutions. It is also align with Bahagian Kepimpinan Muda (KEMUDA), Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia.

RSY WIDAD aims to produce and nurture future country leaders with high Islamic value and high preaching spirit to guide and spread islamic teaching to all mankind according to Model Malaysia.

RSY WIDAD is also a platform for university students to improve leadership and preaching skills while working together in spreading islam in education, social and welfare aspects.

The establishment of RSY WIDAD also shape students as a YADIM agent which highly active in education institutions and on-site activities.
