Bachelor of Nursing (Honours)

The Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) programme at Widad University College is a comprehensive and accredited programme designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in healthcare.

Approved by the Malaysia Nursing Board and aligned with the Malaysian Qualifications Accreditation (MQA), this four-year programme equips students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to excel in the field of nursing.

Entry Requirements

Option 1 : Entry with Diploma in Nursing

Pass the Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution by Malaysian Nursing Board with a minimum two years clinical working experience (Credit transfer allowed)

Option 2 : Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolah Malaysia (STPM)

Pass the STPM with a minimum CGPA 2.50.

Option 3 : Entry with A Level

Pass the A Level with a minimum Grade C in three other subjects.

Option 4 : Entry with Matriculation / Foundation

Pass the Matriculation / Foundation with a minimum CGPA 2.50.

Option 5 : Entry with any Diploma

Pass any Diploma (equivalent MQF Level 4) with a minimum CGPA 2.50. (No credit transfer)

Option 6 : Entry with Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)

Possess current APC for nurses from Malaysian Nursing Board.

Additional Information

All candidate who possess STPM / A Level / Matriculation / Foundation / any Diploma except Diploma in Nursing MUST possess:

  • Either one (1) of the credit below:
    • Science / Biology / Chemistrty / Physics / Applied Science at SPM or its equivalent. AND
  • Credit in Mathematics (Elementary / Additional / Modern) at SPM or its equivalent. AND
  • Any of the following:
    • MUET with a minimum of Band 3
    • IELTS with a minimum of 5.5
    • TOEFL with a minimum score of 515/215/80
    • Credit in English SPM
