Diploma in Coaching Science

The Faculty of Sports Studies was established on May 1, 2011.

It has two sub units: Sports Education (Diploma in Coaching Science) and Co-Curriculum Development.

This programme provides career pathways both within the country and abroad.

Entry Requirements

Option 1: Entry with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV)

  • Pass the SPM / SPMV with 3 credits in any subject.
  • Pass the Fitness Test before joining the programme.

Option 2: Entry with Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

Pass the UEC with Grade B in three (3) subjects.

Option 3: Entry with O-Level

Pass the O-Level with Grade C in three (3) subjects.

Option 4: Entry with Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM)

Pass the SKM Level 3 in related fields and a pass in SPM with one (1) credit in any subject and through consolidation programmes. (if necessary)

Option 5: Entry with Community College Certificate

Pass the Community College Certificate with Level 3 MQF related fields and a pass in SPM with one (1) credit in any subject and through consolidation programmes. (if necessary)

Option 6: Entry with Certificate

Pass the certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent qualifications with CGPA of 2.00 or equivalent.

Option 7: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

Pass the STPM / equivalent in qualification with Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any subject.

Option 8: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

Pass the STAM. (MAQBUL ranked)

Option 9: Entry with Other Equivalent Qualification

Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.
