The Diploma in Architecture is a collaboration programme with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

It is the first part of the Architect's training where professionally; architectural training requires a minimum of seven years and consists of three parts. The first two parts is completed in academic institutions. The third part is a minimum two years period of working experience that enables a candidate to sit for professional Part III Examination, just like Bar exams for lawyers.

The program aims at nurturing students' creativity, understanding of the nature and demands of design activities, skills in visual communication, knowledge of various architectural theories, and abilities in professional practice as well as an appreciation of the values of scientific research. The programme also addresses the generic skills and capabilities necessary to compete in the employment market.
