A total of 78 students and 2 Widad escort officers with the cooperation of 6 Kuantan Forestry Department officers have been involved in this program. The officers has been willing to be a tour guide & point the way throughout the journey in the mangrove swamp permanent forest reserve. This jungle trekking activity started with a prayer and a brief briefing. The students went through the forest area with a challenging route & it took about 2 hours to reach the finish destination safely, Alhamdulillah. The objective of this program is to expose students to the life of flora & fauna. In addition, students can find such a wonderful experience exploring the mangrove swamp forest on the banks of the Kuantan river, there is also a bird watching tower as an attraction in this tourist spot. In conclusion, a program like this can also strengthen friendships between students & this healthy activity can be continued in the future with different locations.
