In conjunction with the month of independence celebrated in August every year, an Inauguration Ceremony for the Celebration of Independence Month was held on 30 August 2022 at the WUC Auditorium. The event, which was attended by Widad students and staff, aims to enliven the independence month celebration and instill a sense of patriotism among Widad citizens with the launch of the Jalur Gemilang waving campaign. The ceremony was officiated by YH Dato Dr. Nasir Mat Dam as the Vice Chancellor of Widad University College and was also enlivened by the presence of the top management of Widad Education Sdn Bhd.
