Diploma in Games Development is designed to provide individuals with the entry level skills and experience needed for employment in a wide variety of professional opportunities such as game programmers and adventure features for use in areas such as game designers, game artists, and 3D game animators.
The programme also provides ongoing skill development to members of the interdisciplinary game teams entering from related professions, such as graphic design, film/video, publishing, art and more. A variety of courses are available for those wishing to expand and move their skills into digital world. Multimedia specialists (games design) are employed by companies that produce multimedia destined for the World Wide Web, CD-ROM Games, online games and computer-based delivery. Multimedia projects include those focused on business, marketing, education, training, presentations and entertainment applications.

Entry Requirements

A pass in SPM/SPMV or equivalent qualification with at least THREE (3) credits in any
subjects.

A pass in UEC with at least a Grade B in 3 subjects.

A pass in O-Level with at least a Grade C in 3 subjects.

A pass in SKM level 3 in related fields.

A pass in SPM with at least a credit in one (1) subject and have gone through a consolidation
programme. (if needed)

A community college certificate which equivalents with level 3 MQF in related fields.

A pass in SPM with at least a credit in one (1) subject and have gone through a consolidation
programme. (if needed)

A technical/vocational certificate in related fields which equivalents to level 3 MQF with a
CGPA of 2.0 and one year of working experience in related fields or one semester of
consolidation program.

A creative Multimedia certificate with 3 MQF level in related fields with a least a CGPA of 2.0.

A pass in STPM or equivalent with at least a Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject.

A pass in STAM. (“Maqbul” ranked)

Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government.
