Bachelor in Information Technology (Hons) is an undergraduate’s programme offered by Faculty of Information and Interactive Technology (FITT) at Widad University College. This programme is ideal for students who wish to study the latest technologies needed in business, government, healthcare, schools and other kinds of organization through the selection, creation, application, integration and administration of computing technologies.

Moreover, this programme provides students with high level of knowledge and skills in both IT and management and at the same time equip students with others transferable skills such as communications, problem solving and interaction in order to prepare them to be an ICT professional.

With these knowledge and skills, IT graduates will be prepared for immediate professional employment, or further studies to the postgraduate level.

Entry Requirements

  • + Additional Requirements (all of the below)

  • Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV) with:
    • Credit in Mathematics
  • Local Students : Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

  • Option 1: Entry with Matriculation / Foundation

  • Recognised certificates of Matriculation / Foundation with CGPA 2.00.

  • Option 2: Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) / A-Level / Equivalent qualification

  • Pass in STPM / A-Level or equivalent with TWO (2) full passes or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00.

  • Option 3: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

  • A pass in STAM with minimum grade JAYYID.

  • Option 4: Entry with a Diploma

  • A Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
  • Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 maybe accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment processes.

  • Option 5: Entry with a Diploma (Alternative)

  • Any other Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
