The Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) is a programme that has been specially designed to provide graduates with accounting knowledge and skills which enable graduates to become professional accountants and to provide dynamic and innovative leadership with integrity and high ethical values.

Entry Requirements

  • + Additional Requirements (all of the below)

  • Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM):
    • Credit in Mathematics
    • A Pass in English
  • Local Students : Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 (minimum).
  • Option 1: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)

  • A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any two subjects.
  • Option 2: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

  • A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid.
  • Option 3: Entry with Diploma in Accounting or related field or its equivalent

  • A diploma in accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
  • Option 4: Entry with Matriculation / Foundation

  • Matriculation / Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.

Career Pathway

Upon graduation students should be eligible to :

  • Prepare studies for Master Degree or professional courses (example: ACCA). Students will gain strong fundamental knowledge to meet the growing challenges and demands in the employment market as well as to maximize career in today’s complex business environment;
  • Create opportunities for those who wish to work in the public or private sectors at National and International level of business;
  • To form a consultant firm, student should pass professional examination from professional accounting bodies in Malaysia.
