The Independence Month celebration was held throughout the months of August and September to foster the spirit of patriotism and love of the country. In conjunction with August independence month and September Malaysia Day celebration, Widad Education has held various activities, competitions and programs to celebrate and enliven the celebration. The Widad Independence Month Closing Ceremony was held on 21 September 2022 and was officiated by Dato Dr Nasir Mat Dam as the Vice Chancellor of Widad University College which was held at the Widad Auditorium. He also presented prizes to all the winners of the competition held in conjunction with celebrating this year's Independence Month. The ceremony was also attended by Widad staff and students
