Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) opens doors to those who need to answer the burning question 'Why do we do, what we do?' Psychologists learn how human behavior affects us and apply that knowledge to helping others. A psychologist may work in a private practice, with a medical institution or even in the business sector.

As a graduate with a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), you will have the skills you need to help others understand their situations, cope with ongoing problems and guide them in living fulfilled lives.

Entry Requirements

  • + Additional Requirements (all of the below)

  • Local Students : Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
  • + Additional Requirements (Option 1-3)

  • Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV) with:
    • Credit in Mathematics
    • Credit in Science
    • Pass in English
  • Exempted if such these three subjects Mathematics, Sciences and English equivalent / exceed the requirement for the subject in the SPM grade.
  • Option 1: Entry with Matriculation / Foundation / Equivalent qualification

  • Pass in Matriculation / Foundation or any IPTA / IPTS / Institution which allowed to offer foundation programmes with CGPA of 2.00.
  • Option 2: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) / Equivalent qualification

  • Pass in STPM / equivalent qualification with 2 full passes with NGMP of 2.00.
  • Option 3: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

  • A pass in STAM with minimum grade JAYYID.
  • Option 4: Entry with Diploma / Equivalent qualification

  • Diploma or its equivalent with CGPA of 2.00.
  • Option 5: Entry with Diploma in Psychology

  • Diploma in Psychology with minimum CGPA 2.00.
  • Option 6: Entry with Other Equivalent qualification

  • Other equivalent qualification recognised by Malaysian Government.
