You can apply for diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate programmes either through our International Centre, marketing advisors, our International Recruitment Partners Overseas. The University has agreements with a number of established Recruitment Partners who can assist you with your application.

It is recommended that you email us first your academic eligibility by filling in the Education Eligibility Form before submitting an application. The International Centre would inform you of your eligibility. You would then be requested to submit the International Student Application Form.

Read the requirements for enrolment carefully and make sure that all information is accurate and complete before submission.

If financed by scholarship or study loan, documented evidence must be attached.

You will normally receive the results in 2-3 working days upon receiving the complete documents above.


Congratulations on receiving an offer for admission into Widad University College (WUC). Offer letters will be sent to successful applicants 2-4 working days.

You can confirm the acceptance of our letter of offer and include the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) fee of MYR 2,500 (non - refundable) to submit your application for approval which may require 2-4 weeks.

We advise that all application forms must arrive at least four (4) weeks before the intake dates.

EMGS Fee also includes:

  • Visa Processing Fees by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) for International students in Malaysia;
  • WUC Processing Fees;
  • Airport pickup and transfer to the University and accommodation upon first arrival in Malaysia.

EMGS Fees excludes Immigration fees (which varies from country to country) and is payable at the Immigration Office counter in Kuantan, Malaysia.


Fees

Fees payable for the academic year are set out in the Fee Schedule. Fees will be reviewed annually. For the avoidance of doubt, WUC reserves the right to revise the fee payable for any given semester.

All fees are payable in advance. Full settlement of first semester fees is required upon acceptance. For subsequent semesters, full settlement of fees must be made by the commencement of the semesters.

After payment due date, WUC shall be entitled, but not bound to, take any necessary actions against students with outstanding fees such as barring from classes and/or facilities as WUC deem fit. WUC further reserves the right to withhold the release of all examination results, certificates and records of the student until the full settlement of fees and other outstanding payment are made.


Application Documents

  • Four (4) recent passport size photos with white background (35mm x 45mm) as required by EMGS;
  • One (1) set scanned copy of your passport - include all pages. (The passport should be valid for at least one (1) year from intake date);
  • Certified true copies of all relevant academic transcripts and examination results by the issuing institution or a by a Commissioner of Oaths, Notary Public or lawyer.
  • If academic transcripts and examination results are not in English please submit certified translated copies by the issuing institution or a by a Commissioner of Oaths or Notary Public or lawyer together with the original copies for visa application;
  • Submit IELTS/TOEFL/ English Certification Results.

Student Visa Processing

After receiving the complete documents and the EMGS fees WUC will submit your application to EMGS.

The processing may take about 3-4 weeks on receiving complete documents, together with the payment.

We recommend that all application forms are submitted at least four (4) weeks before the intake dates to ensure early approval.

You can also track your application process at EMGS Website and you will be able to download your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) once approved.

The student should remain outside Malaysia while the visa is processed, to avoid any delay and queries from Malaysian Immigration and possible rejection of your Student Pass Application.

Transfer Students may process their application while being in Malaysia; however they will need to apply for a Special Pass for this process and is subject to Malaysian Immigration Approval.


Visa Approval Letter (VAL)

You can also check your application status at EMGS website and download the VAL (Visa Approval Letter).


Single Entry Visa

If you are from a country requiring a Single Entry Visa (SEV), you will need to bring the VAL, your passport and other required documents to the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate as indicated on the VAL to obtain your SEV.

If you are from a country requiring SEV: SEV is valid for 30 days, students must perform the journey to Malaysia before the VAL and the SEV expires.
