The Bachelor’s of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a five-year program offered by the
faculty of Medicine in Widad University College. This medical course in Malaysia is laid out to
prepare you for the challenging world of medicine through clinical experience, knowledge,
extensive research opportunities, and clinical practice.

We aim to foster our students in the challenging field of medicine through innovative approaches
and impeccable support from experienced practitioners and professors. They will be given the
opportunity to get valuable insight into the world of surgeons, physicians, and academics of
medicine with the best medical course in Malaysia.
This five-year program is divided into two different phases. During phase one, students will
familiarize themselves with the fundamental knowledge of scientific subjects such as pathology,
anatomy, and so on. Their clinical knowledge will be met with a combination of integrating
exercises to cultivate and nurture clinical skills and giving students the platform to understand
clinical practices and their reasoning. The second phase of Widad University College Bachelor’s of
Medicine consists of the application of what the students learned throughout their first two
years. It involves exploring clinical discipline and obtaining hands-on experience in the clinical
world to become an effective clinician.
One of the benefits of joining Widad University College is students who are a part of the B40
category are eligible to receive a RM50 000 scholarship from Yayasan Royal Widad along with a
RM400 monthly allowance when they apply for this medicine degree in Malaysia. Alongside
that, they will also receive free accommodation and transportation during the duration of the
program.
Option 1: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) / A-Level
Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) / A-Level with grade BBB, ABC or AAC in three

Pass in Diploma in Health Sciences with CGPA 3.5

Additional Requirements
English Language Requirement IELTS / TOEFL (International students only)
IELTS: An average score of 5.5 and a minimum of 5.0 for each component.
OR
TOEFL: Minimum score of 550.
Applicants shall be required to pass an aptitude test and/or an interview and/or a university
entrance examination.
Other Information
All applicants shall declare if they have:
Been found guilty of any criminal offence(s);
Serious physical or mental illness; and/or
Serious communicable disease(s)
which may impact upon their future practice.
A person with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a medical programme:
Found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body; and/or
Recent or serious dishonesty e.g. cheating at examinations, falsification of
documents, plagiarism; and/or
Serious physical or mental illness; and/or
Serious communicable disease(s).
Any failure to declare information that has a material influence on a student’s fitness to
practise may lead to the termination of their medical course, as honesty, integrity and good
health are essential attributes of a doctor and by extension, the medical student.
